70+mph on '06 GP1300r?
Just wanting to get a consistent 70,71,72... out of the ski. Wanted to ask the experts for advice. What do you guys recommend? I have PPK, Riva grate, and unmodded R&D plate on it now. It has hit 67 but that was great water and all. Looking for an everyday 70mph ski. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Send that ride plate to Jim's Performance it will get you some instant results. also make sure you have clearly defined steps on all parts underneath any edge that grabs water will slow you down you want what I call the shingle effect.

my first bolt-on was the dynafly and hit 69. others have had trouble getting the rpms for it. either way, you will need the dynafly. now or later. sorry first thing was stock riva plate and intake grate and THEN THE DYNAFLY

With stock engine and 14-20df, 87mm nozzle is a must. If u use the stock 85mm nozzle your top speed will be literally the same, but its a sick lame duck on accelleration. HUGE difference. You can buy an 87 exit nozzle or bore the 85 to 87 as i did. Any machine shop should be able to cut it for you.

Yes, you need the 87 with the 14-20 period. Ive ran mine both ways, no comparison. double the feel of accelleration with an 87 nozzle and still have the same top speed..
