Question oil separator leaks oil from vent hole

    Hi,
I have a polaris mx150 that i just got back together that now leaks oil ( gieser style ) from the oil separator vent hole. There seems to be a back up of pressure, the oil reads too high though there is only 2 qts in it. Takes minimun of 3.4 qts.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Take a look at the hose that exits on the bottom left (exhaust side). Make sure it is not twisted or kinked. Oil supply to the hi-pressure pump could be restricted and the scavenging pump is just pumping mostly air back to the tank.
