xs IC on a rxpx? pros cons?

Any pros to a XS intercooler for a x boat over the stock one?

picked one up with low hours( just the intercooler, no bracket, have some 3" piping, couplers, and t clamps at home though) and am wondering if its more efficient than a oem one with close to 120 hours, and what other benefits a xs one has

You wont notice a difference unlless you run it for extended periods of time. The Stock unit is better at keeping temps down with extended runs.

I converted because it's stronger, looks better, and suits my riding style well. I relocated and cleaned things up at the same time. If you ever go open loop the x ic will fail from swelling usually.

+1. I use them to relocate the IC on the X. Then you can sell your stock setup to recoup costs. As mentioned, it will be stronger but will have more heat fade.
