    power valve function?

I know it holps build compression down low when closed and chives more rpm when open vs being closed but servo keeps it closed mostly it only opens for 1sec after a 3sec delay after trigered ? Why I have a 99 1200 xll and info came from service manual

Ok just figured it out. Ecu sends a signal (neg pulse)to electric motor which holds it open longer than when tested with battery. So anytime it hits full throttle it opens pv and keeps it open till u let off
