Thread: Gpr 70mph

Ok I just got me an 03 gp1300r and want to put some money in it over the winter the crew I ride with are on heavily moded hondas. What I am looking for in a ski would be a top speed around 70 with tons of rip. Rip above all other is important so what direction should I go?

Welcome, theres lots of stickies with this information. i would take a look over there. I would also make sure that you reinforce the pump tunnel if it hasnt been done, pump seal kit, and check the oil lines. Have you checked the compression? I just dont want to see another sad story of spent bunch of money and now i have a big paper wieght. If it has power valves open them up and see if they need cleaning. After that mod away.

We check pv last night they looked good all intact and attached . Is the pump tunnel that weak? What about blocking the tracer hose can that help ? I just picked up a 1200xl also
The pump shoe kit. What does it do exactly and how does it help?
What is the holeshot kit tks

You could think about some VF3 reeds for a good bang for your buck & porting, depending on how much you are looking to invest..

Island racing makes a real nice set up for the vf3's. You have an 03. Can those power valves and put on gas valves. One of the guys on the forum started making them again. That will het you there in a hurry!
