    Unhappy how to change a impeller shaft seal on a vx 110 pto

    i need to change a impeller shaft seal on my vx 110 pto how is this done i have been reading some forums on the internet that say it cant be done if it cant be done then u can u buy the replacement seals? cuz if push come to shove i jus use a heat up a box cutter blade and cut it in sections and then take it out lol please some one help me

    kk kool thxs bro but this still does not help me cuz thats not the part im changing and it does not show how to remove it it jus shows where what is i know where it is i jus need to kno how to get it out ro replace it but thxs anyways for the help its number 5 on this page that i want to change http://216.37.204.203/yamaha_OEM/Yam...=13&A=187&B=27

    will have to unthread your coupler. can either use a seal puller or drill a hole in the seals and thread a screw into them to pull them out. then drive the new seals in with a piece of pipe that fits the seal and slides over the pto output shaft. or something flat with a hole in it to drive the seal in square. don't forget to grease the lip of the seal so its not dry when going on and in.

    thxs alot bro ur a life saver i have a few seal pullers at work so i have a back up pto but the seal is also bad so i try it and see how it goes but thxs alot bro and puttin things in holes that are dry is a no no

    don't know if its a good or a bad thing but i work on ski's and boats every day at work. so if i can help someone out i at least try to.
