    BEST INTAKE GRATE to use with Riva ride plate on RXPX?

    Hi guys,
    need your opinions.. which is the best intake grate to use with the riva ride plate? keep in mind as we know of the bucking issues??

    Not the Closed Course one.

    If you have cavitation issues, it isn't because of the grate. Take a look at your carbon seal and bellows. Install a SFR bellow band and check your wear ring. You are pulling air from somewhere. Good luck!

    Many people use this in closed course conditions, but if the water is real rough then you may opt for the R&D CC grate

    how does the RIVA compare to the R&D with top end mph and holeshot?

    The Riva on the P-X boats are about 2mph slower. Hole shot isn't in the grate really, more in the rider and the vts control..
