    Custom Intercoolers...

Getting ready to take on a fall project and install an intercooler from frozenboost.com I've done some researching and it looks like most do the Type 14:

Does anyone have any experience with the Type 19? I know it has a smaller core but it looks like it might be easier to make work due to its up and down design.

Pictures would be very helpful along with info on running a dedicated water line for the intercooler.

    Thanks in advance.

Everyone seems to be doing the type14 one.. I have mine sitting here and will start mocking up the piping once my other parts start arriving.

I used a type 13, easier to get into the stock location and also running stock boost.
Bracket was made at work so I had access to material and welders. Stock brackets were used to keep shock mounts in place.
Intercooler was mounted so water inlet and outlet were top and bottem for ease of winterizing.

Looks great. Is that the R&D BOV hose between the clamps? I have the RIVA one, and want to come up with a way to re-use it. I'm sure I will have to re-position it and possibly cut it to fit in combination with other silicone hoses.

Bov and mounting system were made from frozenboost silicone couplers and modded T-tube.

I had to make that from aluminum tube and the adapter that comes with the BOV. The distance between the outlet of the SC and the inlet of the IC are so close.
