    Intercooler differences 09' vs 11'

    so does ayone know exactly when seadoo put the smaller core ic in the x-boats? and how does the new riva ic that is coming out compare with the ic i an 09 x boat??
    anyone??

    In the spring I plan on doing a back to back between the two and also another custom core. Too cold right now in jersey.

    imo unless your running 20+psi the stock i/c is sufficient.

    I realize the stocker is ok but I actually compared both from an 09 tx and a 11 tx and the difference is crazy. The 09 is probably twice the size of the new 11 ic. The riva gen 3 has to be better than a stock 11. Imo

    The 2011 intercooler is horrible in relation to the 2010 and older intercoolers. It's core is 30 percent smaller.
    Sea Doo did not make this move for improved performance.... it was due to cost savings only.

    The 2011 Sea Doo intercooler is the exact reason they came out with the Gen3. It's a bolt in replacement

    with a 2010 or older intercooler Yes, with an 2011 and newer, it won't cut the mustard

    Once mine comes in ill post a side by side picture to show the difference. The stocker is a joke
