x charger upgrade - oil hole in shaft - mods?

    hey guys,

my goodies just arrived from the greenhulk store. 1 xcharger , 42 injectors and fizzle 4 inch air for my 07 rxp.. i have no other mods to the ski, but am planning on ecu upgrade in near future..

now before i install i ve read somewhere about problems with xcharger oil hole in shaft.

i was under the impression the xcharger is bolt on performance upgrade with no need for mods prior to install... is this the case.. or is there some mods that are required before install

i thought the added hole in the shaft would prolong supercharger life rather than cause dramas... ???

You do not need to worry about plugging the hole. People were mistakenly plugging the hole a few years back because they thought it was causing oil to get into the intake.

No. All the X chargers came out from 08+. They all have metal washers

+1, I have had oil leaking past the factory seal after 20 minutes of run time on a new X charger. Viton seal is the way to go.
