T3 Technology Epoxy Resin Systems by Trinity Composites

    T3 Technology Epoxy Resin Systems

Trinity Composites is now offering its watercraft resin system T3 High Modulus Epoxy Resin. T3 High modulus was developed 5 years ago for the construction of our watercraft hulls and components. We are now offering it to the general public. This system is a high performance Epoxy that will out perform any "general purpose" epoxy resin available at the local stores or boat shops. This material was developed through extensive composite knowledge and by an exceptional resin chemist. I recommend it for the use of: hull manufacturing, custom projects/modifications, or repair in the marine industry or any other industry that requires great strength and impact resistances.

    is it smc compatible?

  3. #3
Yes it is compatible with smc. The surface needs to be clean from contaminates (oil, water, dirt, etc). Prep with a good etch of 60-80 grit sandpaper and resin is ready to be applied. It is required to use fiberglass cloths or tapes for repairs or modifications. It will not work with chop mats which has a chemical binder to hold the fibers together that is than melted by the styrene in poly and vinyl ester resin.

Great day visiting NASA as a vendor discussing future prototyping composite components for Lunar Vehicle Surface Systems. Along with the first major agency to put T3 technology resin system to use for their composite needs.
