    slx780 carbs are staying open

I rebuilt the three carbs on my slx780 put them back together and installed them on the intake manifold. I give the carbs the throttle and the carbsopen fully but when i release the throttle they only close about half way.
I thought it might have to do with the connection to the oil pump but the same problem.
I removed the carbs and they open and close correctly off the manifold.
I not sure what is going on. I re-installed and I have the same problem.
what is causing them to stay open?
    Binding????

    slx780 carbs butterflys not closing

Last night I oiled up the throttle cable and it seemed to fix the problem. I started up the engine and the butterfly again are staying open.
Looking down the carb thoats I can't see any gaskets.

Make sure the throttle lever isn't hanging up on the hand grips

Take the throtle cable of the carbs and see if they still stick if you work them by hand. If they still stick I would say you may have a bent shaft.
