    Dyeing side bumpers

so i picked up a 95 seadoo xp. And im not a fan of the color scheme. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with dyeing the side bumpers. They are purple now and i would like to dye them black.

Not sure about dyeing them. Most people just change them out or paint them. The paint will chip off after awhile. Changing them out might nickel and dime you to deaf. Good luck.

Buy some used rub rails on ebay and cut any excess off and rivet them on your ski. You're better off buying new/used rails. Like 20feet said, paint will just flake off after use

you can put adhevize promoter on them and it helps but any real contact and it will chip.Hydroturf them looks better and and almost as tuff as rubrails.SBT has the own verison of it ,it's called blacktip and a little cheaper and just as good.
