Outdoor winter storage
So I was thinking about putting waverunner on a service cart and tucking it away in the corner of the garage so I can hopefully park my truck in the garage this winter. And I was thinking about storing the trailer outside in the backyard.
Anything I should do or think about when storing the trailer outside? I'll probably cover it up with a tarp. I just don't want it to become a mouse home or a rusty POS. Any ideas welcome.

I've been storing my two place trailer out doors for a couple of years now. I just cover it with a tarp and secure with a couple of bungees. Works fine.

I would take the wheels off. I'm not sure if trailer wheels are rated for the cold like car tires are. Should be fine though.

^^^ this or just go ahead and jack the trailer up and put it on blocks to make sure the wheels are off the ground. You can also shoot some grease in the hubs and the leaf springs to make sure moisture doesn't get in. Wipe down the towing coupler with some engine oil or grease to make sure it doesn't rust.
