    Et 70-145 SC question?

Why did this charger needs a Race fuel only?
What happens if you use normal fuel with it?
I think its almost the same as a 3Rude, or they are totally different?
Their is no too much info on Et website and also on the forum about thius charger.., so if someone have this, please make some comments about it (slip on choppy water, etc)
    many thanks for the input...

What are your anticipated uses for this charger?

the et race *might* need race gas due to the amount of boost it can produce.

If you need race gas, and you put pump in there then you will need at least a headgasket to replace the blown one, or a motor if its severe enough.

I think its almost the same as a 3Rude, or they are totally different? They are different BUT with your setup,i would still use race fuel for both chargers

Im just asking, i already have the Et 68-140 and on another thread i was asking about going TURBO, but im still checking around different posibilities, so the Et 70-145 sounds pretty good on psi and its lightweight, so just curious nobody uses with normal gas, maybe it produces less psi but i dont see why i need race fuel, unless i want 20psi...

Anything over 15/16 PSI and high RPMs i would be concerned about detonation and use racing fuel..The 70-145 isnt as light as you think for a Scer when you get that wheel spinning..If you had a choise to go with the 70-145 or a turbo i would go turbo..there is alot of slip/clutch maintance that comes along with the 70-145

See post #3. You'll see 20 lbs at 8600 with this charger. Bye bye head gasket and plenty of detonation. You'll need a built engine to be safe. IMO! I would ride it without a built engine period! Race fuel only. Go turbo.

I wish i knew more about the science of pre-ignition/detonation..I may be wrong but i dont think these guys are running pump gas with high boost/rpms UNLESS they have an ECU were the have taken some timing out..that could be one reason why they may be able to run pump gas..
