New 300x Owner!! Met some of you Kawi guys in AZ @ WF

    Hey There,
Just wanted to pop in and say whats up... I just purchased my first NEW ski, I had a RXP-X before, but got tired of getting worked in the rough stuff by you guys. So if you cant beat 'em, join 'em right? Im friends with MikeH, and race with him in the IJSBA, and DJSA. I also met some of you in Havasu a couple weeks ago. Well gonna go break my ski in. Im sure ill be chatting with you all shortly.
    - Jimmy

p.s. I had seen several posts on break-in, is there a general consensus yet on which is best for the 300x? Soft n' Slow, or Short Hard Passes?

My break-in procedure was SLO mode for the first hour with periodic bursts of throttle, then same procedure full power for next 4 hrs - no top speed runs for first 10 hrs. It's a catch 22 because you need to seat the rings early but you also don't want to load too much heat into the motor too fast

I'm running 74 mph essentially bone stock with the speed delimiter

OK you were the guy that was there with that other guy when all us guys met by the Monster trailer.
    I remember you now.
    Welcome to our side.
However you do break in you ski only admit you did it by the book.

One question though, do you really feel that you needed to include you were friends with Mike right off the bat. Don't know if I would have done that. But then again, that was nice of you and it made him feel important. Yeah I agree it was good to mention him.
