If you have access to a person who welds for free or you weld yourself it may be worth making a kit, MAYBE!!!
The time it takes to fab a bracket correctly is very time consuming!!!!

I have 2 FZR's and have purchased a Riva kit and also made a kit from a type 13 frozenboost IC'r and I have to say after everything I went through the Riva kit was the way to go.

If you can get the JD-1 kit for a discounted price then you should do it.

    Just my 2 cents!

Some people enjoy the fabrication more than the riding. And there's a certain amount of pride that goes into making things yourself, aswell as learning..
