    SC Reinstall 04-07

hello, so i pulled my old Sc which was all banged up so i purchased an 07 charger and when i bolt it up the top bolt location has a gap in between where the charger meets the motor. Its like there should be a washer, but on the 04's there is no washer? If i need a washer what size is it?

Hmm that doesnt sound right to me... Do the gears have the same number of teeth? I know they changed it somewhere along the line.

Or is the shaft going all the way in, and just the faces not mating up?

    I never had a problem,

Back in 04 there were some Scer housings that required washers/shims,BUT your 07 shouldnt...Are you sure its pushed all the way in????If it has new O-rings it will be a little tougher to push in all the way...Did you put any lube/anti-seize on the O-rings before installing the charger???this will help in letting the Scer slide all the way into the engine....

Yes, i pushed it al the way in. I'll take a picture of it. My 04 required one washer to make it flush.

Make sure you don't have a screw keeping it from going flush
