Lightbulb Please Check so you dont sink!

Caution, don’t let this happen to you, and learn from me.

Saturday I installed a new impeller and RIVA Billet Driveshaft Sleeve kit. All was installed as per instructions and FZspecs. Ski was parked outside over night and taken out Sunday morning. After a 30second run I did a quick check to find water half way up the battery and slowlycoming in through the silicone coupling around the billet sleeve. After stabilizingit with my hand i slowly crept back to shore and the bilge do thedraining. Upon inspection of the clamps, ALL were loose just enough to giveunder pressure.

My though is the temperature change, it was 62 duringinstallation, 42 at night, enough to contract the silicone couplings? … IF you’reusing this kit, please check before you head out.

Thanks to my riding buddy VXR mike, who was with me and gave me a hand with this debacle.

I'm doing really well, thank you.

To my surprise, the Doctor did'nt want PT. he said letting the range of motion happen naturaly was better since it was a bone injury. It seemed weird at first, but is actually working good. This week is my next visit and xrays to start allowing me to do some over-head work.

Glad to hear the ladder patient will be ok.
