What's a fair price to sell my '08 RXT 215?

Looking for a bit of advice here...

What's a fair price I should try to sell my 2008 RXT 215 and Triton LXT trailer at?

The ski has 215 hours, not many scratches or scuffs except on the rub-rails. Obviously the motor has been very meticulously maintained. No rust.

LOL! No thanks...Honestly, I don't want to sell this ski at all. It's got another 500 hours in it, easily. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like the idea of her convertible being moved outside of the garage in order to fit a third ski.

Blasphemy! I'm definitely keeping the black one (because it's hers). Still debating whether or not to just part-out the red one or sell it. With today's market, I think I'll probably have a tough time selling it for $5k. Might be more cost effective to just part it out.

You will definitely get the most money parting it out.

You know what would be pretty cool is to raffle off your ski for something like $100 a ticket. You might not get the $5 grand out of it but you never know...might end up with more. I know i'd be in to buy a ticket or two. In my opinion this would be a great way to pay it forward to the Greenhulk community since most of the votes for the ski you ate getting where probably from this site. I voted for you. Anyways just throwing a crazy idea out there......but it would be pretty neat.

if you could sell it across the boarder(canada) you could probably get 8000 for it no problem

    indeed.
but not many buyers this time around...........(cough snow)
8K is abit too high for Canadian sales (in season even)
im sure if you are willing to drive here so and so,people would give 7-8K depending on how they want to use it, plus we have to pay a tax afterwards, and registration.. blah blah...it will EASILY run up to 1K here plus...
so 9K seems high, but 8K seems better, but 7K is a good deal here if they dont register it here...
although i dont really need the trailer......i sure its easyer to sell seperate then as a combo....
toobad you only posted this now , for me, its too late by a week 1/2 as i got an atv instead.
so.... 8K here with trailer will fly and sell like a fresh cookie nearer to the summer

but parting it out would be more of a win for you, maybe keep some spare parts for yourself and sell some other parts.
either way it really depends on what you want and how much you want to get back for it.

like i said, here in my area. used seadoos are in NEED, but more near the summer too bad i wont be able to buy it off you

Get a cover and keep it and or a shop cart and put it on the front of the garage. I wouldn't get rid of the wife. She's a catch and let's you win free skis. get a shop cart and turn the ski sideways. Parting it out is a bitch. I would list it for 6k OBO if she insists on making you sell it?
