This is prob a stupid question but I must ask because it is bothering me. I lifted up my seat on my 09 Seadoo rxt to do something with my battery and there is a very strong gas smell right under the seat.
I know the gas tank is there but it is A very strong gas Oder...is this normal?

last time out i popped the seat to check everything before the ride and i smelled gas. plugged in the key and noticed my pressure would drop to 0 a few seconds after the pump stoppped priming. I found the RIVA RRFPR pre fabbed hose otiker clamp was loose...not sure how long that was like that.

Check your gas cap. My TX had a crack in the cap and you could smell gas everytime you would lift the front storage or take off the seat.
