    Pics of my coated pistons

These are going into the PSI special. They have a heat coating on the top, and a dry film on the skirts. Done by High Peformance Coatings for $40 a piston and about 1 week turnaround time. See if you can read the pink piece of paper. It's something I thought was interesting.

WOW! That's some hi-tech space age sh!t there. Maybe they run them pistons in the space shuttle. No clearance changes and up jetting huh? Can't wait to see all these parts come together. It's gonna be sick man

What intrigues me is the need for fatter jetting. Too bad you have to hide the cool looking pistons in a cylinder.

I thought you guys needed to see these. The coating on the top of the piston is a thermal barrier that's supposed to evenly spread heat across the piston. Eliminating hot spots and helping to keep the rings cool. My guess is it has something to do with that.

Gotta love all that bling. Maybe you ought to get some of those clear jugs to go with them so everyone can see them!!!!! LOL

They look great and should be a dependable choice. Let us know how well they do.

Best bet is to go to their website or contact them.

Google High Performance Coating. They have/had a couple plants around the country. Still haven't installed these yet.

I need to hone my cyls and weld the crank still. Toying with the idea of Teflon coating the exhaust valves for the PSI cooker. We'll see what we come up with.
