    need kawy 300 oem pump/ prop info

    hello guys im looking for as much info as possible on the pump / prop combo on the oem kawasaki 300x. also are these parts the same as the 260 model?

    heres some of the info i need on the 300, if anyone can answear them id really apreciate it.

    what size prop in mm. ?

    what pitch is the oem prop ?

    what size pump ?

    how many veins in the pump ?

    what size is the oem venturi/exit nozzle ?

    and what size steering nozzle ?

    actually i just spoke with dave at impros today,,he told me the stock 300x prop is a 13/25 he said it looked more like a nu-jet design than either the skat or solas.

    I don't know nothing about props but yesterday I got a look at the prop and indeed it looks like a nu-jet

    I measured it as a 13/23, and at first glance it looks nujet. But it isn't. It's actually a work of art.

    The whole pump is.

    This isn't a 5mm bigger 250 pump.

    +2 i have been messing with ski`s for 20+ years and the pump on these 300`s is unlike anything i have ever seen. you may be right about the 13/23 maybe he told me with the scom the 13/25 repitch is what it needs to be in the 7700-7800 rpm range.

    Mate, even the manufacturers can't agree on a standard pitch scale so what I observe is bound to differ from what others observe.

    They are only reference numbers anyway.

    I agree, the pump is subtly VERY different from what has been around for years. I had one on the bench for an hour and didn't notice anything unusual, then I happened to glance at it in passing and thought' "now that's fukin interesting, some clever bastard has been workin on this!!"

    thanks for the info guys, anyone know the exit nozzle diameter?
