    Deck removal

I am thinking about getting some bodywork and painting done to my beat up 2006 VX110.
Is it easiest to accomplish this by taking the deck off? Then repair the gouges, paint and reinstall?
Who has done this, and how did it go?

Would it have to be cut? I thought that it looks like you would simply take the moldings off, take the screws out that go most of the way around the deck and hull edge, drill out the rear rivets, and remove the handlebars and dash gauges.
If I have to cut it, I will do something else.
Is the hull bonded to the deck?

    Yes it is bonded.

    Plan B

It is bonded. I do not want to cut.
Okay, I guess I will have to spend the $$ to buy a sling, and make a stand to move it to where we can work on it.
Thanks for the information. I always learn a lot from this forum, some day I hope to be able to contribute.
