    Not trying to hijack your thread - great pic btw, but it sure reminds me of the night a friend and I got stuck on the water a few months ago. We tried to outrun the storm, but that didn't happen... We were going to be home by 7PM, but I didn't walk through the door until nearly 11PM.

    But still not a bad shot from a smart phone. The reason mine aren't super sharp and larger is b/c they aren't tech. pix. You really got to be set up for lightning and I wasn't... as you can see in two of them I was in a moving pontoon boat. I finally switched to "video" mode and shot a couple of film clips. Later, I froze the frames that looked the best. Then I took a "snapshot" of the frozen frame. It doesn't make for the best pic., but it sure makes it a lot easier to record a lightning strike.
