just ordered R&D intake grate to prevent buck, thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone sharing there knowlege on the fzr bucking issue and how to correct it.

With all my mods and lastly just recieving my Jim's performance ride plate i think it's a must i invest in a intake grate.

Basically the cause is from the pump being overloaded with water, and it back spits it out because it cant handle the excess volume???

    Thanks for your order Peter!

Just to clarify, the "buck" associated with the stock FZR grate is not due to overstuff. It's due to the design of the stock grate causing lift at higher than stock speeds. "Overstuff" is a big misconception on this forum as it's not really a stuff.

Your description of overstuff is correct though.

    Good call
Jims plate adds a lot more angle than the stock plate, so a buck would be inevitable with the stock grate and Jims plate.

seems strange that a scoope to put even more water in stops this problem, things that make you go
