rxpx intercooler ? vs fizzle
i m finishing some tweaks to my 07 rxp and now wondering about intercoolers... some good feedback around the fizzle but im not keen on removing resonator ( noise and drone)
wondering if there is a downside in fitting a a standard rxpx intercooler ??
that way i can keep stock exhaust and still have benfits of intercooler..

I am in the middle of putting a stock RXPX Ex IC on a 2006 rxp, I want to keep my rear air so I chose to move it to the side, right by the resonator, I made an aluminum bracket to attach to the rxpx stock intercooler mounting plate, there seems to be enough room to keep the resonator, the only problem is that you need the rxpx front exhaust hose that goes up and over all the intercooler hoses to make it work and my 2006 resonator was the old style with the front connection pointing forward instead of up like the newer ones,
In order to use the RXPX exhaust hose you have to have the newer resonator, I don't so I chose to take out the resonator and go with the free flow at the stock location, I am now custom fitting the EX IC hoses to match,
see picture below of the newer style resonator that you need, unless you want to make an elbow bracket,

Removing the resonator is not that drastic of a noise change. But i can understand.
Where are you from? We can fab up what ever you need to make it work at our shop if you need ANY help!
