A little more description would help. When riding do you see water coming into the hull from a specific area? Or when you're done riding you see a little water in the back of the hull?
The latter is common on many yamaha skis-- particularly the VXR/s because they don't have a one-way check valve that the other yamahas do.

It leaks in when riding...cuz i vacumn out all the water when im done hosing the engine down..for some reason these hulls dont drain all the wayer out even if tilted as far as trailer goes...so i always vacumn whats left..im thinking coming in thru reverse or the ride plate

part number for fix on vxr/s
this is the part number that you need you may find them in the FZR and in the XLT1200 2002 68N-5112T-00-00 they do not call them check valve they are in there parts list as JOINT, HOSE. sometimes i do not know who is naming the parts.
and it is the reverse when the gate comes down it forces water back thru.
yamaha does not have a fix the do not Acknowledge that they have this problem i have already tried.
