    Tigershark TS 1100 R

New to the tigershark ski's so im looking for some direction.Bought 2 of these on a double trailer for $500,Sold the trailer for $450.Took both machines completely apart.Very clear neither one has run in years,Both motors locked up,Pumps are ok but the wear rings are shot from salt getting between the housing and ring.

After taking both machines apart.I decided only needing one and tigershark parts hard to come by to scrap one hull (saws all are fun).Thinking having all those extra parts cant be bad.Well After many hours of wet sanding, buffing, cleaning, blasting and so on,Im to the point where im ready to start putting this machine back together,I (as far as i know)have everything i need except a crank (i have 2 cores)set of piston's and a gasket kit.

Going premix so im not worried about the oil pumps,I got 3 very nice cylinder's out of the 6 so im good there, rebuilt one carb set.So i thought i was all set...........NOT

Nobody rebuilds 1100 shark cranks,Pistons are oem only as far as i can see (and thats if you can find them). So here's where i need some help,Someone must do rebuilds on the cranks right?I dont see anything on the cranks i have that i would say.........whoo i understand why nobody wants to rebuild them.So whats the problem?

I did find a few Artic cat dealers that list the crank and pistons,$75 a piston im ok with,But $2500 for a crank? Are they high?
