    Les cooke retainers, spring shims.

    What do you guys think about:

    Les Cookie Retainers
    Rotax Racing Spring Shims

    Im looking to to redline at 9000RPMS

    And set up to run around 8900 RPMS

    As I said already go les retainers stock springs as long as they don't have heaps of hours on them and stock lightened valves! It's a proven setup.

    At that point i guess just switching to riva valve train would make more sense!

    You can..riva valve train cost a little bit of hp, wouldn't be much though.

    I've notice when I installed the les Cooke retainer it sit lower then stock retainer addind more pressure,
    so I don't think u will need shims with the les Cooke.

    I was under the impression les cooke retainers and stock springs was a proven set up to 8600 rpm.. anything higher needs diff springs.

    yes it does, but I think is worth it to be sure and not float a valve as we get closer to 9,000 rpm.
    Just my opinon.

    I don't think just a riva valve train is good for 9k. With lightened valves and les retainers there good for 9500rpm
