    just pulled my charger

I just pulled my charger with 68 hours on a 2004 rxp. both the ceramic washer seem to be intact and in whole( lucky?) but what's strange to me is that the washer closer to the nut is a black color and the one further from the nut is white-ish. I counted all the pieces according to the micro-fische and all is accounted for. could one washer have been changed at one time, even though the PO said he never had it done? or is the color difference normal?

if they are indeed ceramics, change them out now while you can and avoid their looming failure.

the new rotax washers are what you prolly want to be running, its just not worth the risk of running the old ceramic ones.

I think that they should be the same color. I would PM one of the gurus. You will get an answer quick.

i just worked on a ski for a customer, 2005 RXP, 201 hours, Original ceramic washers, never had a failure. Ski started to lose power when it came to me. Could not believe they lasted that long.

well being that they're still wholly intact, my dilemma is do I get it rebuild or just go with an x-charger,4"
kana-flex and 42 injectors? I need a new prop & wear ring also so I just want to buy the prop once. is the x-charger combo that much of a difference in performance?
