Sounds like the pitot is cloged or the tube.

    Welcome to the Hulk.

Directly under your driveshaft is the pitot (white plastic) and connected to it is a clear tube that runs all the way to the MFD.

If you look under the ski, the pitot is a white "sharks fin" that sits inside the water intake area of the ski.

Make sure the hose is not kinked and is attached at BOTH ends. (pitot and MFD)

Thanks again guys i found the Tube that you described very easily from your description i cleared tthe line of any water and also cleared the little fin, when i put pressure down the line ( blowing air from my mouth ) i was able to see the MPH raise, now 1 thing i was not sure of is, should that line be filled with any type of liquid or does it fill up with water as you motor boat along?

    Thanks again guys

the pitot system works off pressure to give a reading on the MFD. i believe water goes into the fin creating the pressure. mine has always had some water in it.
