    Question rxp ?'s bout turbo or upped charger??

    to make a long story short, i was planning on putting a gt28 or gt30 on rxp soon but one of my other buddies is parting out his turbo ski. So since im getting ready to get the ball rollin on mine i talked to him and asked every ? possible, he pretty much said it was getting unreliable and blew through gas like a SOB. right now i have an x-charger w/riva stage 1. best case scenario i turbo but i was kinda tossing up an upgraded charger, intercooler and other supporting mods...IF i was to stay on the charger route what would you guys get charger wise to make it significantly faster than what i have now???????????? and what computer and injectors would you run along with impeller???

    What mph are you looking for.. A goal is always a good start!

    Also depends on if you intend to ever enjoy the ski recreational or if its just for race. Either way I'd still take anyone on with a SC.

    With a decent turbo setup fuel econemy should improve some as your not having to power an SC.

    If your looking for upper 80's and can pick up a complete kit from your buddy as stated in your post maybe go straight for the turbo.

    milage is all about how it is tuned...and how you are riding. i rode with my sister she was on a stock gtx...i was on my rude 3 rxp..we rode all day side buy side .at the end of the day i put exactly the same amount of fuel in each ski to top them off..she was wot most of the time i was half

    Not speaking for everyone, but i have used 48lb injectors on chargers as large as a Rude3 @ 8100 rpm no problems and great fuel econ.
