MSX handle bar grips
I intend to use a UMI start/stop,VTS housing on my Original MSX bars, it looks like the grips are vulcanized on. Can any one confirm this? I like the originals but will need to replace them if they are ruined during removal.
If I do have to replace them (original not available as a spare part) what do you guys recommend?
I do not like the grips like the ones fitted to the Yamaha FX SHO, uncomfortable compared to the polaris ones. It is not just my soft hands, mrs Kosh thinks the same.

I don't know if they are vulcanized on or not, but if it is just adhesive you could try heating them up with a blowdryer or heat gun and see if they loosen up a bit. I would not recommend trying any solvents as this may have adverse affect on the grips.

Most prefer the ODI lock on grips....
You can add custom etching for that personalized look too...
