Talking SpeedFreeksRacing Inter Cooler Relocation Kit for 2010+ S-3 hull Doo's

Erik, the genius at SFR, allowed me to test an early prototype of his 2010+ S-3 hull IC relocation kit. Right to the point – BUY this kit without hesitation – it is by far the simplest, biggest bang for the buck improvement you can do to your S-3 hull ski.

After my recent upgrade of performance parts I didn’t think I could improve upon what I had done much more – I was wrong! This kit provides arm wrenching acceleration and throttle response. By simply replacing 4 feet of hoses from the SC to IC and IC to TB, and relocating it much closer to the SC and TB, you gain incredible throttle response! There is no longer a delay, hose flexing, or long hose to generate heat.

Erik’s kit includes a precision cut stainless steel mounting bracket, couplers, T-bolt clamps, and longer hoses. It took me about 2 ½ hours to remove the stock setup and install his kit.

This kit does require the stock resonator to be removed! You can either do as I did and install Riva’s through hull exhaust kit or use SFR’s “Free Flow” couplers (included), which connects the stock exhaust to the stock exhaust outlet. As you can see in the photo’s, the Riva through hull exhaust really opens things up for access – expensive, but very well designed and sounds awesome.

As others have reported with similar mods, there is no apparent speed gain, but just SICK outrageous throttle response. I felt like I was back in a F-16 with 5 stages of afterburner! I guess you can tell, I think SFR hit this one out of the park!

Very good review looks like an outstanding product, another one to add to the list One question will this be able to be used with the Riva free flow exhaust?

YEP, since you have already taken the resonator out, your good to go.
