Homemade bracket for EX IC
I had some scrap aluminum laying around at my work so I decided to cutout a bracket to move my EX IC over above the resonator,
It was easier that I thought, and I was able to use my EX IC stock piece that holds it down,
I took off the 2 stock brackets that mount it above the trim motor,
I fits pretty good, I am able to use my homemade free flow exhaust pipe, and keep my rear air,

Could you go thru Hull exhaust in the class you have to run now, or prefer stock exit?
Just wondering, since you now have all supporting mods to go thru Hull. (opas delete-ic relocate)
It sure cleans up the Hull and with stock waterbox not much louder then free flow.
Actually sounds better.

If I keep the stock exit I can stay in limited class, If I move the exhaust exit it moves me to OPEN class,
And Open class is unlimited, anything goes, turbos on down, I don't stand a chance,
I really wanted to stay stock class but the location of the stock EX IC would not let me do the rear air,
and the sponsons can only stick down 1.5 inches at the most,
It was real hard to make turns with the sponsons that hight up, and 8-10 laps around a bouy course
So I chose to Move up to the Limited Class, also I moved up out of Novice and moved up to either Expert or Pro class in the ISJBA
I hope with the new mods I will be competitive, the first race is in March 2012

I think I'm going to make one of these out of the original stock Rxp-x mount, can someone list the silicone coupler sizes and bend degrees you need to purchase to make these fit?

Under the IJSBA you have to use a marine flame arrestor with a specific number I forget what it is but you have to run it if your racing under IJSBA rules if you have modifed the stock air intake which you have.
The Riva rear air for instance would be illigal.
Also what sponsons are you running???

I haven't hooked up my EX IC yet but one of the stock hoses from the X ski works for one side, and I bought a X ski front exhaust hose that I am not using now, I fitted that hose for the other side I had to cut it in the middle to get a piece that fit the proper angle, all you need is a 2.75 piece of aluminm tubing that they sell for $14.50 and use pieces of your stock hoses, if you don't have the extra exhaust hose
I have a flame screen over my rear air intake that meets USCG specs, but I was also told that the intercooler also acts like a flame arrestor and will not let a back fire flame thru,
I made my sponsons that stick down 2.5 inches, they really make the ski turn sharp, in the bouy course, sometimes too sharp, you really have to be carefull it will throw you off if your not carefull,
