External Intercooler install on 06 rxp water routing question

I have my External Intercooler that came from a X ski all in and ready to hook everything up,
I have been reading the intstall instructions on several different models like the Gen 2 power cooler kit, the X cooler relocaton kit etc..
The water routing seems easiest to do, for an 06 year is the instructions from the Gen 2 power cooler kit,
    Am I reading this correctly?
It shows the water inlet hose from the pump goes to the inlet side of the EX IC, (with no T fitting), then the outlet from the EX IC goes up front to the Exhaust manifold, and the Exhaust little cooling hoses stay the same, on top of the J pipe etc..
but then it shows if you do the intall on the 08 or newer you have to use that T fitting on the water inlet from the pump so some goes to the Exhaust manifold and some goes to the EX IC? I do not use the T correct?

The 1/4" little top nipple on the side of the EX IC is a water outlet tube anywhere out correct?
I was thinking of using a small pisser outlet so I could monitor the water output, like the tripple piped Polais I have with 3 pissers overboard
    thanks,

I have a inline filter, I was just wanting to know which water routing was best?
the Ex Ic came with a bunch of hoses that came from the donor ski, including the T piece, but I think it came from an 08 ski,

The 08 has different exhaust setup than your 06 so the water routings are slightly different. Stick with the one without the T you will be fine.!

I would T the incoming water with the X cooler, they can't handle the high pressure .

If I use the T and go one to the intercooler and one to the front of the exhaust, then I don't have a place for the outlet to go? my J pipe has a different set up than the 08 x ski?
will that 1/4" nipple let pressure out thru the pisser?

The pump support has a 3/4"barb that's capped you will need to drill it out and attach the discharge from the intercooler.
The 1/4" nipple will not bleed enough pressure.

will the intercooler get enough water to keep it cool?
I am going to use a strainer does that cut down on flow?
also I can drill out the bleeder 1/4" nipple,
