    Boost

    Hi on the motec log file how do you work out how much Boost you are producing, is it from the Manifold Pressure, mine says 206.6kpa

    Ive set my units to read psi and from what I understand you have to set the offset value to -14.7to allow for the pressure of one atmosphere. When you are connected to the ECU but the ski is not running you should see 0 psi, not +14.7.

    have a look at your log (i would change the setings to pounds per square inch first)
    see what it reads when log is on but ski is off - that off the total
    or do what i did
    convert killopascals (or pascals (all i could find))and minus the average 14.7psi off the total

    206.6kpa=15.2psi you where real close Kev

    thanks pete exactly what i was asking the other week

    tried it i can reset to zero but it doesnt alter on the channel?
    what am i doing wrong?
