thinking of selling my 01GPR...ideas on a price to ask

I've had this ski for a couple years now and I just don't ride it enough, heck this past summer it never seen the water! I think it's time to sell it and put the money into something else. What kind of price should I start at or around for a 2001 GPR with the mods listed in my signature? The carbs need rebuilt or tuned as it stumbles a lil from idle to 1/4 throttle and has normal scratches on it, nothing major. I've had it up to the high 60's a river with me (250 lbs) on it. I live in Lexington, KY and am in Cincy, OH most weekends.

    here's a pic

I'd go $3000, but would start at $2500. I'd say the mods equal the carb issues price wise. Honestly though I don't know what all the mods cost, or what percentage you recoup when you sell. With it stumbling like that I'd be taking your word for it it's something simple, and all the risk that's it's not.

I just bought a 2004 1200XLT with 55 hours, runs perfect with a very nice triton trailer for $3500.

We also bought our 2000 GP1200R with trailer, 33 hours, a few scuffs, no problems for $2900 I think we overpaid though. Looking back I should of offered $2400. Got that in August.

I absolutely love that color blue though.

Spemd the money to buy the carb rebuild kits, and some carb cleaner. Rebuild them, and ask $3k.

I am thinking that I definitely want to get the carbs rebuilt. I just wont be able to ride it until the weather warms up, like late April, but I would like to sell it this winter...decisions decisions!

Yep, I suggest getting it fixed and advertising it as a well running ski with perfect compression and popular mods already done.

I know you wanna sell it this winter, but you'll get more for it in running order than not.

If you want to sell this winter, offer to have it inspected at the buyers cost, to be refunded if they buy it.
