2009 GTX LTD is Engine RPM faulty
My GTX LTD is 2009 doesn't reach the 8250 rpm anymore.
When engine is cold he get's to 7250 rpm, when he is on temperature max 6250 rpm.
I've already checked the slip torque on the sc clutch. Changed the coils/spark plugs. Even changed the fuel pump.
Can anyone help me plz.

Plugged intercooler? Also, can you swap the ecu with the 2011 to rule that out? Not sure if they are interchangeable though.

I cannot find a boost leak, checked and tested all hoses and clamps. Checked intercooler and intake manifold, nothing leaks.
PSI is around 120-130 psi with cold engine. Cannot find table in manual.
Maybe map sensor give false reading? But no fault code appears.
Any other ideas?

Your ski has a brake?
Rpm how to not water - on land?
Checking the fuel injectors, throttle butterfly position sensor.

Did you ever run debris such as rocks thru pump by accident.
You could have changed the pitch in the prop dramatically and that could bring rpms down.
what was slip on sc when you checked it?
Maybe intercooler is cloged, but usually if that is the case it will throw high temp on exhaust cause want be getting the water it needs to cool exhaust.
what is your rpm at idle.?

Are you sure you don't have a boost leak? The manifold and intercooler also need to be checked for leaks, not just the hoses. Did you pull off the hoses and check for metal?
