    Riva head studs 300x

I have heard alot of people replacing the head bolts with studs with out removing the head... They do one at a time and clean the oil residue with a air hose and never have issues... I have the bolts and would LOVE to do it like this before tuning... Imputs???

    Thanks!!!

On a diesel truck if the engine is new and hasn't been tuned then yes, they change one stud at a time and it's fine. If the gaskets are old and already getting weak then it won't work for long.

Does ARP make a set for the ski?

I have a Ford but I work on trucks as my day job. Just bought a set of arp studs for a truck, 700.00 for a set of them. Ouch

Ya, 5-6 thousand dollar repairs are becoming common. It's sad, you better need a diesel if you buy one. Oh, and keep water out of your fuel.
