    IC piping size

I am relocating my IC on my rxpx to the side and I am about to purchase the piping and couplers. I see that the inlets and outlets of the TB,SC, and IC are all 2.5". Is there a performance boost by increasing the piping size to 2.75"?

    Thanks

Keep the pipes at 2.5" your ski will have a snappier throttle. The only way I see it being a benefit would be if going with more boost IE turbo or big charger.

I added a 3" pipe going from my SC to my IC and even though I have no way of actually measuring gains I feel like I gained throttle response and acceleration. I would have done a 3" pipe from my IC to the TB, but it would not fit.

I just installed an X ski stock EX IC in my 06 rxp, the size of the tubing is 2.75 inch od aluminum,
I was able to use the X -ski hoses to do mine without purchasing any tubing, and I have the rear air,
I used a 2.5 inch piece of s/s pipe in place of my resonator, but as you know pipe size is different than tubing size, the OD is different,

I would have purchased the Metal pipes for the intercooler pipes.
