    air time

Just a note to self: be more careful...

Last weekend I finally got some air time... My ski went left, I went right
When I hit the water at close to 70 mph I was lucky not to barrel roll, but rather slither along on my back. My right knee got an ugly bruise (not sure what in particular caused this0, the shoulders still hurt and I got a stiff neck from the massage I got from the briny stuff. Lost my shoes (found them again later) and a pair of sunglasses, but at least nothing broke
The "best" was the feeling of hitting the water. I only saw white spray flying, and there was a gigantic WHOOOOOSH sound I'll never forget.
    Nothing wrong with the ski.

OP, that's got to be one hell of a feeling that I'm not planning on experiencing any time soon. Glad you're OK.

Stay safe out there. I've had my fair share of spills at 50+ and I've been lucky not to get hurt besides a few bruises. Again, be safe guys.

when i got back to land i checked the intake grate, ride plate and pump tunnel as far as i could see it. all looks ok, the bolts are still tight and nothing was stuck in there, nothing bent. let's classify this as driver error...
    cheers

Hi Tyson bro, yes i am also glad that nothing really bad happened.
Hope you won't get a flying feeling like that

Yes there are certainly better times and places to take a swim Ato! Just curious, if you remember, what where the water conditions like when you got tossed? Overall I am assuming it was pretty flat because of your speed at time of ejection. Did you cross a wake, hit a rogue wave, were you standing, were you sitting???

    Glad you are ok. JB
