Pro 785 engine out, anything to look for?
I am transfering my 785 engine into a ski that is not wrecked,
Is there anything I should look for before I bolt it in the other ski?
So far I re-bolted the rear cross bar/motor mount that had come loose (I had lost my ground)
I changed my rusty starter bolts to stainless steel, and put more grease in the bendix,
and I cleaned it up pretty good,
Any thing else to look for??
When I do go in with the motor should I put any shims at all?
Or just wait until it is in first and see where the alignment is?

Check all the bolts for proper torque

I personally used red loctite on the cradle bolts because mine have backed out before. I would put the engine in first then check the alignment since all hulls are different.
