Question ? on Fuel Pressure Regulator

Good day all, so when does a fuel pressure regulator come into play?
Just ordered my x-mass gifts, B1, R2, Power Cooler+HKS. will i need any fuel modifications with the mods i have?

If I where you go with the R3 you might be lean on fuel with the R2. I had to send mine back and get the R3,wasted 2 weeks off water. Get a A/F ratio gauge! You will not need any fuel mods but you will need to repitch your prop. 13/23 FTW! My mods got 80+.....

    Lightbulb

Thanks! i have the AF gauge

Was wondering about the regulator, so the stock system will be just fine with the B1 and R2?

I just shipped off the ECU to R&D and included a list of all the mods done to the ski. I requested them to evaluate and recommend anything else if R2 was not suitable. We shall see.

Yes stock system will be fine, well if you have to send back for the R3 its going to cost you $175 why not just get it to start and have them set rpm limit to 8500. Just saying....

i would go with the R3 aswell just because its got a little more acceleration down low and a bit more fuel available up top, but if you allready got the R2 no biggie.

the oem fuel pressure regulator on these skis can vary from 49~52 psi so depending on where your FP is at will determine if youll be a little lean or not.
