Where is the greasing nipple on a 2012 FZR?

Already got a 2012? Didn't think they were being released until spring.

I've been trying to help Mike out via PM, and I suggested he posted for everyone to see. While I don't have a 2012 ski or access to a 2012 service manual, I would assume yamaha just got rid of the long hose and has the grease nipple a lot closer to the intermediate housing.

If you can't find the hose coming off just pull the coupler cover. I think it's only one bolt holding it on.

I think it's only one bolt holding it on.

Unless they've changed the design for 2012, it's a single bolt and two rubber press-to-fit connectors. Not surprised the hose has been eliminated. It was hard to judge when you actually got grease to the bearing vs just filling the hose.
