    Modified VX Plate

Had great results on Sat morning with a modified VX plate, 2010 FZS completely standard, 15 hours, Ran 67.8mph before and managed 72.2mph with just the plate alone, Was starting to get a slight porpoise effect at that speed but nothing uncomfortable or scary. Ski going into Gold Coast Waverunner for extensive mods next week and we wanted to see what effects just changing the rideplate would do for the speed and handling

Nice results! I know JD and some other guys with high hp boats prefer the R&D plate at 80+. But the VX plate is perfect for anything less IMO.

Yep, I agree! I was faster with the R&D at higher speeds.

I was faster with the VX plate modded by( Kev here in Austraila ) 85.3mph with just a slight bounce at the very end of the run.
Could only get 83.8mph with the R&D plate with a far bit of bounce. These test where done back to back with only the ride plate changed. My clutch went before i could do more speed runs with the VX plate but there is more speed out of this plate to come.
Will be doing back to back testing on the plate's this weekend
