R&D or WORX brand of intake grate?

    Hi

I want to reduce the off throttle resistance (braking effect) of my 300x when I let go of my throttle at high speeds. Do people recommend I try the R&D or WORX brand of intake grate for this?

    regards,

For offshore riding I know of a few people including myself that are very happy with the R&D grate. You might lose .5 to 1 mph, but will eliminate that parachute effect when letting off the throttle at high speed.

yep....that stock intake really vacuums you to the water and gives you great hook up...but while varying my throttle and letting off during engine break in , it took a little getting use to as you quickly slowed down...

note - I am stock intake right now.... I don't want to do anything that potentially robs hookup. Also keep in mind I avoid flat water.

I have heard that the R&D intake grate is good on flat.

    Hi

Sounds like the R&D intake grate could be the one for me as I only look for flat water too!

    regards,

Only for flat water go with the Riva and just remove the scoop.
