No Wake Mode/Cruise Assist on FZR

Does anyone know if the factory wiring harness of the FZR have provisions to support the cruise assist throttle controls from a SHO? I just got a computer from a SHO and was wondering if anyone has ever done this to their FZR.

    I am guessing...

You probably need the SHO wiring harness and the SHO ECU. The SHO wiring harness has the handlebar controls for the no wake and the cruise control.

The gauge sets are different on the two skis, what I don't know is if the two different gauge sets use different connectors. So you would need to check to see if you can use the FZR gauge set with the SHO wiring harness.

I think shobiz discussed this in his build thread-- but I may be mixing people up. Let me see if I can do some digging...

Just checked & the FZ & SHO harnesses have different part #'s, which doesn't always mean anything, but the SHO part is ~$90 more so they're most likely different.

You would need the SHO ECU and the wiring harness/handlebar controls. It can be done, just a lot of trouble. I hardly ever use cruise. I do use the no wake function pretty often though in idle zones.

Already have the computer, I guess if I knew the pinouts on the harness I could add them myself without having to purchase the harness. I guess it's time to search for wiring diagrams...
