    Cold/Wet Gear Recommendations

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for some new cold weather riding gear in the form of neoprene boots & gloves. Any suggestions based on experience? What not to buy would also be a plus...

    Thanks,

Wrong! RE-READ this post. I'm looking for new gloves & boots. That other post was strictly wet-suit related, you post count hog. LOLOLOLOL

I'm thinking of getting some new 5.10 Canyoneers (SAR's this time) but I also would like some neoprene type gloves, but I don't want them so thick
that I can't make a cell phone call w/o removing the darn things.

Yeah, I'm prob. going to shop a dive shop in BR for gloves, but I know I don't want just plain diving "booties" for the winter.

I'm buying a pair of the new Jettribe boots for riding my stand-up, & I figure they will also be nice & warm when cold weather arrives if used with the 3mm neoprene Lycra socks.

Thanks, Mark. Let me know your experience w/them. I just bought some 2mm neoprene socks from Cabela's (12.99). I'm really interested in the gripping power of the soles. That's why I like my 5.10's - "stealth rubber" - just time to replace them.

I looked at and tried on those boots at WF. I like them.
